If you have been living under a rock the last few years and haven’t heard the name Elf Bar, they’re the legendary creator of the UK’s favourite disposable vapes; the Elf Bar 600. They have been manufacturing vaping products since 2018, and have kept themselves extremely busy with a slew of releases in a very short period of time. While the majority of people associate Elf Bar with single-use disposables, the company has more recently made waves in the closed and open pod system market with the ELF Bar Mate and FB1000 Pod kit. The ELFA device follows a nearly identical form factor to the Elf Bar 600, albeit slightly wider, and it’s been treated to the same soft touch outer shell and stylish colourways (there are 6 colours to choose from). Its internal battery has a capacity of 500mAh, and although being a smaller capacity than its disposable counterpart, it is rechargeable through a type-C USB port positioned at the base. ELF Bar states the device will grant you 600 puffs per full charge and it can be recharged back to full capacity in no more than 30 minutes.

In addition to ELFA being rechargeable, you can also switch out the pod cartridge - which is easily removed by pulling away the top mouthpiece section. So when your juice is out, simply remove the pod and click in a new one to resume vaping. This not only makes it more cost-effective in the long run, but it is also a greener option than single-use disposables.

Pre-filled pod cartridges for the ELFA Bar are available in 12 delectable fruity flavours. They use a 20mg strength salt based nicotine that has been engineered to meet nicotine cravings much faster than standard freebase while also offering a pleasant throat hit. They have a TPD compliant 2ml capacity.

The device is lightweight in the hand, and the soft touch exterior shell provides a superior grip. The mouthpiece was designed to exactly match with the curvatures of your lips, and it perfectly simulates the sensation of holding a cigarette to your lips.

It retains an ease of use with no fire buttons, so you merely have to inhale to activate. Being a mouth to lung device the draw is relatively tight, but you’ll notice an increase in vapour production thanks to use of mesh coils.

Flavour wise, the device is on point with the Elf Bar 600, offering bright, clean and crisp tones throughout. No matter what flavour you try, the inhale is bursting with vivid fruity flavour, and the exhale has those cool undertones you all love.

This kit will amaze fans of the Elf Bar 600 because it offers the same degree of convenience, ease, and, of course, quality - but with the added benefit of being able to replace the pod cartridge and recharge the battery.

The initial outlay for the device is £7.99, which includes a single pre-filled pod. For top-ups, a pack of 2 replacement pods is available for £5.99, so not much more expensive than purchasing a single disposable. Overall, this is a far more cost-effective solution.
