Wild Zoological Park, in Wolverhampton, England, ranked on top, with highlights including its spectacular bird shows and walk-throughs with the lemurs.
Ranking in second place is ZOO and Castle Zlin, located in Zlin, Czechia, with visitors praising the zoo for its spacious enclosures and beautiful surroundings.
In third is Wolds Wildlife Park, in Horncastle, England, where visitors appreciate the variety of species as well as its good value for money.

Best rated zoos in Europe based on Tripadvisor traveller rating, Google Review rating and the percentage of five star reviews on Tripadvisor. Zoos considered on the basis that they offer a range of animals, rather than a focus on just one type of animal eg. birds of prey. Zoos located in Russia were excluded from the findings, as well as any zoos which do not meet Tripadvisor’s animal welfare standards.
