The first thing to note about the Eleaf iStick Pico is its diminutive size at just 70.5 mm tall, 45mm wide and 23mm deep. This compact size represents a real triumph of design and engineering by Eleaf since the unit has a power output of up to 75 watts, features a fully operational OLED screen and can operate in a comprehensive variety of modes. Added to all that, it also sports stylish good looks, combining elegance and functionality.
Eleaf’s designers have also taken a different approach to the layout of the iStick Pico. Starting at the base of the device, you’ll find that the adjustment button is set there as well as eight small holes which are positioned to increase ventilation for the battery.
Putting the adjust buttons on the base means that there’s more room for a fully sized and featured two-line OLED screen on one of the battery’s edges, which is also where you’ll find the firing button and the micro USB port. At the top of the unit you’ll find a screw-off cap covering the battery compartment. The iStick Pico takes an 18650 cell, which is not included.
The battery can work in a range of modes including variable wattage from 1 to 75 watts, bypass, and temperature control for nickel, titanium and stainless steel coils. The device has a 510 spring-loaded connector and so can be used with a variety of sub ohm tanks although, naturally enough, Eleaf recommend one of their own, the Melo III Mini.
This unit fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and comes in colour options of white, grey, black, silver and hot pink. The iStick Pico packs an amazing amount of power and functionality for its size and in operation it produces thick clouds of vapour and good taste definition.
