However, beach litter poses a serious environmental impact on marine life, especially considering disposable vapes - 60% of all litter collected during beach clean-ups consists of single-use plastic items.
How can vapers ensure they dispose of vapes properly?
Start by dissembling your e-cigarette device and its components, ensuring it’s residue-free. Recycle the separate metal, glass, cardboard, or batteries in the relevant bins. However, vape kits and mods work differently due to them having a battery. Once these external batteries have died, drop them off at a local battery recycling bin.
How do I recycle disposable vapes?
Due to the nature of disposable vapes, you cannot disassemble pre-filled pods meaning, it consists of mixed materials and cannot be recycled. However, here at Vape Superstore, you can send us your used disposable vape kits for recycling.
How can I reduce my impact on the environment?
-
Buying bigger bottles of e-liquids can reduce plastic waste that needs to be recycled.
-
Consider trying refillable tanks rather as opposed to disposable ones.
-
Opt for eco-friendly suppliers or suppliers that are WEEE-regulated.

Methodology
Time Out and other external sources were used to identify the beaches analysed, ensuring there was a mix from across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
TripAdvisor stars, the percentage of 5-star TripAdvisor reviews, and Google reviews were used to rank the beaches according to their popularity.
Ahrefs was then used to identify the average monthly searches of each UK beach listed.
