What is Royal Mail Tracked 24?

Royal Mail Tracked 24 is a fully tracked next-working-day delivery service, offering fast and convenient shipping for customers across the UK. While it’s not guaranteed for next-day delivery, the vast majority of parcels arrive the day after dispatch.

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link via email or SMS so you can monitor your delivery from dispatch to doorstep.

When Will My Order Be Dispatched?

Orders placed before 10pm Monday to Friday are processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off time, or on weekends and Bank Holidays, will be dispatched the following working day.

How Your Vape Superstore Order is Delivered

When you choose Royal Mail Tracked 24 at checkout, you’re selecting a fast, reliable, and fully trackable delivery service designed to get your vape order to you quickly and safely. Below, we break down exactly what happens from the moment you place your order to the moment it reaches your doorstep.

Step 1: Placing Your Order

When placing your order, make sure to select our Royal Mail option.

Once placed with Vape Superstore, we will send you an email confirmation and our warehouse team gets to work.

Step 2: Parcel Collection by Royal Mail

Your parcel is handed over to Royal Mail later that same day. From here, it enters Royal Mail’s national delivery network, where it is scanned and sorted at their regional sorting centre.

You'll receive a dispatch confirmation via email or SMS, including a Royal Mail tracking link that updates at every key stage of the journey.

Step 3: Tracking Your Order

With Tracked 24, your parcel is scanned multiple times throughout its journey. These key tracking points typically include:

  • Dispatched

  • Received at Royal Mail sorting centre

  • Out for delivery

  • Delivered – with confirmation of location, time, and recipient signature

Step 4: Out for Delivery

Once your parcel arrives at your local delivery office, it’s scanned as “Out for Delivery.” This typically happens in the early morning of the delivery day, and your parcel is then loaded onto a Royal Mail van or delivery round.

You will receive a notification update when it’s on its way with a time slot.

Step 5: Delivery Attempt

Royal Mail will attempt to deliver your parcel to your chosen delivery address. Depending on your local postie and the circumstances, this could involve:

  • A doorstep handover (signature may or may not be required).

  • Safe place delivery if you've nominated one via Royal Mail’s tracking system.

  • Delivery to a neighbour if you're unavailable and a safe place isn’t designated.

If nobody is home and no safe delivery option is possible, Royal Mail will leave a “Something for You” card, with instructions to:

  • Rebook the delivery for another date

  • Collect the parcel from your local delivery office

  • Choose a new delivery option (e.g., leave with a neighbour or safe place)

Step 6: Delivery Confirmation

Once delivered, your tracking will update to show the exact time and date of delivery. If a signature was obtained or the parcel was delivered to a safe place, this will also be included in the tracking info.

Royal Mail Tracking

Royal Mail will keep you updated on package status with a tracking number that is provided in our email confirmation and Royal Mail text messages. This can be used to amend your delivery options. You can track your parcel at any time by visiting the Royal Mail Track Your Item page and entering your tracking number.

If you attempt to track your order before Royal Mail has collected your package from our warehouse, you will receive a message asking you to try again the following day.

After Dispatch

Once collected, the tracking number will update to let you know it has left our warehouse.

In Transit

Your parcel will be forwarded to the relevant delivery office informing you that your parcel is making its way to you.

Ready for Delivery

Your parcel will arrive at the relevant post office.

In case you’re not in

When your tracking link has updated, you’ll be able to update your delivery options if you need to. This allows you to amend things like the delivery date, delivering to another address or arranging a collection.

Collect from Post Office

We know sometimes your schedule can be busy making it hard to find time to stay in and wait for your order. With the option to collect, you no longer have to wait around! Search your postcode and find the nearest Post Office collection points.

Delivered

Once your parcel has been delivered, Royal Mail will include an image as proof. This will show you or your neighbour accepting the parcel or the safeplace that it has been left in, making it easier for you to find. Exact GPS coordinates will also be included for reference.
