What Are Vampire Vape Max Nic Salts?

Vampire Vape Max Salts are a new line of nicotine salt e-liquids from Vampire Vape. Nicotine salts use a gentler formulation than regular e-liquids (freebase – 50/50) e-liquids. Users of nicotine salts tend to like them due to the smoothness on the throat and the high nicotine content.

The Vampire Vape Max Nic Salts have also been formulated to hold even more flavour than we have seen in earlier releases from the brand. The flavours mimic the same intensity as we saw in disposables and now prefilled pod kits.

Testing Notes

For this review, I tested the Vampire Vape Max Nic Salts across five days using the same MTL pod kit setup for each flavour. I used a Vaporesso XROS 5 Mini with a 0.8ohm coil and kept the airflow at 75% open so the flavour comparison stayed consistent. Each flavour was tested from a fresh fill, then again after at least one refill to check whether the sweetness caused any muting. I also tested 10mg and 20mg separately, because the same flavour can feel different once the nicotine hit is stronger. My final notes focused on flavour accuracy, smoothness, coil consistency and whether the flavour stayed enjoyable after a full 2ml pod.

Standout Flavours Reviewed

Heisenberg Nic Salt E-Liquid by Vampire Vape Max
Heisenberg Nic Salt E-Liquid by
Vampire Vape Max
£2.95

Heisenberg

Our Score out of 5

Flavour Profile: Mixed Berries, Aniseed, Menthol

Ice Level: Mild

Who It Suits: Existing fans of Heisenberg who now want a sweeter, more intense taste, or vapers who love a mixture of fruit and ice.

My Verdict:

I found this flavour to be better than the original; the richness of the berries and aniseed is more intense, as is the menthol, yet it is still perfectly balanced and refreshing. If you don’t like icy blends, however, this may not be the one for you.

I tested Heisenberg Max directly after vaping the original Heisenberg 50/50 liquid in the same device setup, with a fresh pod used for the Max version. The Max version had a more immediate berry note on the inhale, while the aniseed and menthol sat closer to the finish. The original felt sharper and slightly drier by comparison, while the Max version leaned sweeter and fuller. After four refills, the flavour still tasted consistent, with no burnt taste or obvious muting. For existing Heisenberg users, the biggest difference is not that the profile has changed, but that each part of the profile feels louder.

Pinkman Nic Salt E-Liquid by Vampire Vape Max
Pinkman Nic Salt E-Liquid by
Vampire Vape Max
£2.95

Pinkman

Our Score out of 5

Flavour Profile: Mixed Fruit, Punch

Sweet Level: Strong

Who It Suits: Vapers who love intense fruity flavours that don’t get overly sickly for all-day vaping/ users of the original Pinkman who want a sweeter flavour.

My Verdict:

This was the perfect combination of sharp, tangy and sweet with intense notes of grapefruit, lemon and orange throughout. It is bolder than the original for sure, but at the same time, it is not too overpowering and feels super smooth on the inhale.

I also tested Pinkman Max against the original Pinkman 50/50 liquid because like Heisenberg this is a flavour many long-term Vampire Vape customers will recognise first. The Max version tasted noticeably brighter from the first few puffs, with the citrus notes feeling more forward and the sweetness carrying further into the exhale. The original Pinkman felt lighter and a little sharper by comparison, while the Max version had more of the disposable-style flavour intensity that this range is aiming for. After three refills, the fruit punch note was still clear, although the sweetness was stronger on a fresh pod than it was near the end of the second fill.

Blueberry Sour Raspberry Nic Salt E-Liquid by Vampire Vape Max - 10mg
Blueberry Sour Raspberry Nic Salt
E-Liquid by Vampire Vape Max

Blueberry Sour Raspberry

Our Score out of 5

Flavour Profile: Blueberry, Raspberry

Sweet Level: Strong

Who It Suits: This flavour is aimed at vapers who want a combination of bold sweetness and sharp sour notes. Avoid if you are into the more traditional or simple flavour profile, as this one is more on the intense side.

My Verdict:

Upon the first inhale, I was pleasantly met with a strong taste of sweet blueberry and tangy raspberry. It's definitely a great competitor for other similar flavours on the market, it’s flavourful and doesn’t get tiring even after the two 2ml pods I filled up.

In my test notes, Blueberry Sour Raspberry scored highest for immediate flavour impact. The blueberry came through first as a sweet, rounded inhale, while the raspberry gave the finish a sharper edge that stopped it becoming flat. I marked it 8/10 for sweetness, 9/10 for sourness and 7/10 for all-day use. The main thing I liked was that the sour note did not disappear after the first few puffs, which can happen with similar profiles. By the second pod, the flavour was still strong, but I found it better in shorter sessions than as a constant desk vape.

Dragonfruit Watermelon Smoothie Nic
Salt E-Liquid by Vampire Vape Max
£2.95

Dragonfruit Watermelon Smoothie

Our Score out of 5

Flavour Profile: Dragonfruit, Watermelon, Smoothie

Sweet Level: Strong

Who It Suits: Vape users who love a more complex fruity flavour, the addition of ‘smoothie’ gives this flavour a more rounded taste. If you find one note or simpler fruit flavours a bit too bland, this one here is perfect.

My Verdict:

When I first saw Dragonfruit Watermelon Smoothie in the line-up, it stood out because most fruit nic salts in this category still follow the same berry, cherry, blue raspberry, or ice formula. In testing, the "smoothie" part was not creamy in the dessert sense. From the first inhale, the dragon fruit delivers an intense floral note, with the watermelon adding a sweet undertone. I loved this vape juice, and I hope the vape market continues bringing out more unique flavour profiles.

For vapers who already know Pinkman and Heisenberg, this is the flavour that shows the range is not just relying on old favourites.

Lemon & Lime Nic Salt E-Liquid
by Vampire Vape Max
£2.95

Lemon & Lime

Our Score out of 5

Flavour Profile: Lemon, Lime

Sweet Level: Sweet and tangy

Who It Suits: Fans of clean, refreshing flavour profiles without too much going on, i.e. vapers who are looking for an all-day flavour they can stay with.

My Verdict:

I am not typically a massive fan of Lemon & Lime vape flavours because they often taste quite artificial, but this one here felt like a natural hit of zesty lemon and sweet lime. It was a great flavour to pick up halfway through the day to cleanse the palate. I couldn’t put it down once I picked it up.

What the Flavour Range Gets Right

One of the main highlights of the Vampire Vape Max range is the volume of flavour in each bottle, each offering immense and distinctive taste from the first few puffs, which works particularly well with the high-nicotine formulation. The stronger, sweeter flavours like Dragonfruit Watermelon Smoothie and Blueberry Sour Raspberry are flavoursome and rich without tasting like they were made in a lab, whilst flavours like Pinkman and Heisenberg offer a more subtle and easier to vape all-day flavour.

The line-up offers a varied choice of flavours without making options repetitive. Ice blends like Pineapple Ice and Strawberry Ice deliver an exhilarating, chilled experience, and fruity choices like Strawberry Kiwi and Watermelon fall more into the sweeter category.

With such a wide selection, it’s surprising that the quality stays the same across the Vampire Vape e-liquid collection.

What Nicotine Strength Should You Choose?

Chemical structure of nicotine with its name labeled below.

As said previously, the Vampire Vape Max Nicotine Salts are available in both 10mg and 20mg. If you’re new to vaping, you may be a little confused about which to choose.

  • 10mg (1.0%) is considered a medium strength of nicotine. Recommended for lighter smokers (10-15 cigarettes) per day.

  • 20mg (2.0%) is more suited to heavy ex-smokers who were on 20 or more cigarettes a day.

Who Are They Best For?

As said previously, the Vampire Vape Max Nic Salts are best for vapers looking for a flavourful, highly concentrated profile that delivers a smooth throat hit, as well as for vapers who prefer MTL (mouth-to-lung) and/or RDTL (restricted direct-to-lung) vaping. For those transitioning from prefilled pod kits to a reusable setup, the Vampire Vape Max Nic Salts may be your best bet.

Best User Profiles for Vampire Vape Max:

  • Users of Prefilled Pod Kits: Vapers who are looking for the same flavour level but in a refillable format

  • MTL/Pod Kit Vapers: Created for users with lower-powered refillable pod/pen kits

  • Heavy Smokers/Chain Vapers (20mg): Those who want fast nicotine satisfaction

  • Light/Moderate Smokers (10mg): Ideal for users who want a smooth and lower nicotine option

  • Flavour Enthusiasts: Vapers whose preference is bold flavours, sweet, and ice blends

Flavour Range Breakdown

A standout highlight from the Vampire Vape Max line-up is the variety of flavours they offer. This collection covers a range of flavour groups from fruity blends and chilled menthols to the sweeter candy options. No matter which flavours you choose, all are bold, with prefilled pod flavour intensity that high-strength nicotine users seem to prefer.

Performance and Vaping Experience

As you should know by now, the flavour is great, but now let's get into how these nicotine salts perform and break down the overall experience of the VMAX range.

Nicotine Hit and Satisfaction

Available in both 10mg and 20mg, the Vampire Vape Max lineup provides rapid, maximum satisfaction. The 10mg option is subtle and perfectly balanced for traditional MTL vaping, whilst the 20mg strength delivers an even faster nicotine satisfaction without any immediate difference in the smoothness.

For a simple comparison, I used the 10mg and 20mg versions in the same pod kit with a 0.8ohm coil. The 10mg felt easier to vape over 3 hours, especially with fruit flavours like Lemon & Lime and Watermelon. The 20mg gave quicker satisfaction after fewer puffs, which made it better for short breaks but less necessary for continuous use. I did not notice a major difference in throat harshness between the two strengths, but the 20mg felt heavier in the chest after repeated puffs. For most light to moderate users, the 10mg is the more flexible option.

In comparison to standard nicotine salts on the market, the VVMAX range feels more intense on the inhale, especially in the sweeter and icier flavours. Despite this, the delivery of nicotine is still very tolerable, especially when paired with a refillable pod kit.

Vapour Production

Vapour production of the VVMAX range is the same across the range with a 50VG/50PG formula, which is suited for MTL vaping, not large cloud direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping.

  • Crafted for MTL vaping

  • Subtle vapour output, like traditional cigarettes

  • 50VG/50PG e-liquids for use in refillable pod kits

  • Works great with low-powered coils

  • Flavour is consistent, no coil build-up despite the level of sweetness

  • Balanced vapour production for everyday vaping

How Long Does a Bottle Last?

The Vampire Vape Max Nic Salts should last, on average, anywhere from 2–5 days. If you are more of a lighter vaper, however, you may be able to make it last over a week, whilst heavier vapers may finish the bottle closer to the 2–3-day mark. If you are used to puff count estimates, 10ml e-liquid bottles should last from 1500 to 3000 puffs.

Final Verdict

If you are looking for a nicotine salt e-liquid with bold and intense flavour from beginning to end, the VVMAX range is a great choice. Not only is the flavour considerably richer than other nicotine salt e-liquids on the market, but they are made by Vampire Vape, who are a trusted name within the vaping industry.

For anyone who likes strong flavour but does not want to keep buying prefilled pods, the Max range gives a similar intensity with more control over flavour choice and nicotine strength.

FAQs

Yes, the Vampire Vape Max range is designed to deliver a bolder vaping experience than many standard nic salts. The flavours feel more concentrated, while the nicotine delivery feels slightly more immediate, particularly in the 20mg strength.

The 10mg option is better suited to lighter smokers or regular vapers who prefer a smoother nicotine experience, while the 20mg strength is aimed at heavier users looking for faster craving satisfaction.

These nic salts perform best in refillable MTL pod kits and lower-powered vape devices using coils around the 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω range. They are not intended for high-powered sub-ohm vaping.

Popular flavours in the range include Heisenberg MAX, Pinkman MAX and Blueberry Sour Raspberry MAX, although the best choice will depend on whether you prefer fruity, icy or sweeter candy-style flavours.

Bottle lifespan will vary depending on your vaping habits and device setup, but moderate MTL users can typically expect a 10ml bottle to last several days before needing to refill or replace it.
